This is a taste of what your Otago Central Rail Trail Classic experience will look like.
Priced from $1795 per person
Embark on a leisurely ride along the Alexandra River Track, a popular loop along the river returning on the rail trail back to Clyde. The 24km loop is optional for those looking to warm up the legs before starting the Otago Central Otago Trail the following day.

Enjoy the 37km journey along the rail trail from Clyde to Omakau with the picturesque landscapes and historic sites along the way. Settle in at your comfortable ensuite accommodation with dinner reservations available at the local pub.
Cycling 30km from Omakau to Oturehua you will follow the trail through the Manuherikia Valley and up to the spectacular Poolburn Gorge, with 360 degree views, you will be immersed in the beauty of Central Otago. Settle in at your accommodation with dinner reservations available.
Today you will cross the highest point on the 32km trail between Oturehua and Waipiata. This section is situated in the heart of the Maniototo Plain providing you with 360° views of the mountain ranges. Settle in at your accommodation with dinner reservations available at the Waipiata Hotel.
The final 51km of the Otago Central Rail Trail from Waipiata to Middlemarch crosses over the Taieri River, NZ’s fourth longest river. The attractions continue with the Prices Creek Tunnel, the only completely bricked tunnel on the trail. One of the team will meet you in Middlemarch to transport you back through to Clyde and onto Queenstown or Wānaka.

We supply a fleet of excellent, comfortable bike (E-Bikes available) with high spec components. Along with all the accessories you might need like gel seats, panniers and more to ensure a comfortable ride.
The trade is Grade 1 (Easiest) – Suitable for novice riders, families and those seeking an easy, relaxing cycling experience. Gravel surface with only gentle climbs.
